About the Cabot Community Celebrity Cruise

It is with great pleasure that we announced the 2017 Cabot Community Celebrity Cruise! Nominations were open until August 15, 2016 and 1 CommonKindness Celebrity has been selected to join Cabot for an amazing week-long Alaskan cruise.

For the last 5 years, the Cabot Community Celebrity Award has honored powerful achievements & contributions of select volunteers. Together with the Cabot Farmers, Points of Light and HandsOn Network, we celebrate those who have dedicated their hearts and time with little thought of personal recognition and reward them with a trip of a lifetime.

The CommonKindness Celebrity will join dozens of other volunteers from organizations across the nation aboard the Celebrity Solstice. Onboard celebrities will have time to relax and network with like-minded volunteers. They'll attend workshops and seminars to enhance volunteer efforts, share tips and tactics that make them successful, and ultimately, get ready to do more great things in the communities they serve.

"The Celebrity cruise was the trip of a lifetime, with people who do amazing things as incredible volunteer advocates for their causes.  The association with Cabot staff is heartwarming, reflecting the values of the company and representing it in an awesome way.  I was, and continue to be, so blessed!"

"I was shocked to learn that I had won the cruise through AARP and Cabot Creamery.  The cruise was a great experience and I was so blessed to meet such a dedicated  group of volunteers that are making a difference in their communities.  I came back home with a new energy and commitment to our community because of the inspirational stories of these individuals.  The Cabot Creamery staff was the best!  Thank You AARP and a small Co-Op made up of dairy farmers called “Cabot Creamery” that honored us by giving us a trip of a lifetime."
Kay Calvert, Quiaque, TX

"There are not words to describe what this trip meant to me. I only thought I was doing something good to help the ones less fortunate, but when you listen to all the amazing stories it makes you want to go out and do even more. The cruise was an excellent motivator and also a means to look at one’s life and where they are in their volunteer programs."
