The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since the first funding in 1954, LLS has awarded more than $600 million in research funding. Our grant programs are among the most prestigious in the fields of hematology and oncology.

Services

Financial Assistance

$100 stipend available to help offset medical expenses. Call for an application. A Co-Pay Assistance Program is also available for patients with certain diagnoses.

First Connection

Peer support program linking the newly diagnosed patient and family with a trained volunteer survivor who can share their special perspective on diagnosis, treatment and coping with a blood cancer

Information and Education

- Brochures on blood cancers and treatments. - Free telephone education programs. Transcripts available on our website www.lls.org. - Local educational programs for patients/families and healthcare professionals.

Support Groups

Blood cancer support groups are held monthly throughout the tri-state area. Local groups held in White Plains, Brewster, Sparta & New City.
