About Us
PMD promotes informed and responsible volunteerism by
engaging individuals in meaningful, hands-on tasks that local charities need and by assisting select companies and charities in building
successful community involvement programs. Our vision is for
everyone to be able to volunteer productively a few times a year
so that together we make a real difference throughout the year, have some fun, and learn things along the way.

Group Volunteer Opportunities for Businesses

PMD organizes private volunteer projects for corporate/employee volunteers, in order to build camaraderie among participants AND make a real difference to those in need. PMD works with each company to identify clear goals and objectives so that we can match the right, high-impact project to your needs. PMD handles all of the organization, planning, and detailed logistics required for a successful volunteer experience so that participants can "jump right in" as well as learn valuable and meaningful information about the charity and people they are assisting. Contact us for more details. It would help a great deal if you shared the scope/timing/budget for your project, whether you desire to work in your conference room for a few hours (so more people can participate) or leave the office to volunteer, the abilities and interests of participants, any community involvement goals and objectives, cause focus, geographic preference(s), resources available, frequency, past successes and challenges, etc.
One-Time Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals

PMD organizes one-time, volunteer opportunities for individuals to help as part of a group of like-minded people on weekend days and occasional weeknights. PMD's web site lists upcoming events (for which anyone who can commit can sign up 10-30 days in advance). Subscribers to PMD's private email list receive text descriptions of upcoming volunteer opportunities one month in advance.
